Probably the best BBQ in Midwest, even better than famous BBQ PLACES in Texas. He opens 12-3 but he operates by ordering few days earlier. He was sold out of brisket at 1pm! So you better order ahead of time. Pulled pork was packed with flavor. The juiciest Ribs I ever tried. There home made pie was delicious.

WOW! There are very few places that I could name where I couldn't think of one single thing that could be improved upon but Bens BBQ shack is one of them. The service--WOW! The food--WOW! BEST RIBS & COLE SLAW IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The hype is REAL y'all! Customer service that makes you feel like they really care about you. This is how you get a lifetime customer. Down to earth, high quality people, making high quality food. I don't think it gets any better than this.

I got the Big Game bundle. Everything was well seasoned and well cooked. The ribs were some of the best I have had, there was a noticeable smokey flavor to marry the slightly spicy seasoning to the tang of the vinegar based sauce. The coleslaw is great on its own or paired with any of the bbq. Whether it was intentional or not, I did not detect much of the smokey flavor I look for in the brisket and pulled pork. Well seasoned and cooked, the consistency was without question, wonderful. Finish off with the Buttermilk pie. It’s flakey and sweet but not too sweet.
